Crystal Flores - Our daughter Marie at the petting zoo, patting a goat with her dad.

Daniel Ruiz - My son Max was so fascinated in visiting the Zoo this day. We've since became family members and it never gets old!

Rashid Ocheltree - This is a picture of the animal rides at the Zoo. They had camels and an elephant.

Ann Hatzopoulos - 1968 LA Zoo "dial-a-map"

Craig Newsom - Opening day passport.

Antonieta Munoz - I remember the Los Angeles Zoo in the 70s when you could feed the animals and pet them. I also remember the flamingo exhibit which is different from today.

Ellen Weitzel - A day at the zoo with my granddaughter Ofelia. She loved seeing all the animals and getting her face painted!

Les Evans - As a young Santa Monica native, my favorite was always the petting zoo! This is me in 1970.

Jessica Olivares - This experience was priceless to be able to see my daughters happy face meeting her favorite animal.
